Topic Launch Event

The children took part in our whole school lauch event based upon the topic title ‘Questions and Creativity’. They explored the fields, ‘Rainbow Reflection Garden’, the ‘Hill’ and the class raised vegetable beds to look at something with new eyes, finding their miracle amongst the ordinary! The children spent time talking about the famous quote below and what it meant to them.

Hambleton CE Primary School has had a busy and exciting half term. Thank you for your continuing support and the encouragement given when helping your child/children with their home reading and learning. Our ‘Maths Monster’ and ‘Reading Rebel’ Books, shared with the whole school during Friday Wise Owls Worship are filled with amazing learning and fun activities. The children love celebrating their ideas with everyone.

Robinwood Residential

The Year 6 children (Eagle Owls) had a fantastic time on their Residential trip to ‘Robinwood’ outdoor adventure centre. They showed compassion towards everybody, true determination and respect to all. The centre’s staff congratulated them on being such a fabulous, caring and well behaved bunch. Fun was had by all and many memories made. Eagle Owls – you were super stars!

Welcome to our first Newsletter of the Spring Term 2023.

It was fantastic to see so many parents, carers and grandparents at our Wise Owls Worship today, who joined us to celebrate individual achievements in PSHE, classroom challenges, ‘Maths Monsters’ and Reading Rebel’ activities. Six Eagle Owl children received their Bronze and Silver Young Leader’s Award in total, which was absolutely amazing.
